I am a lifestyle photographer.

Inspired by my mother’s passion for snapping memories, I’ve been hooked on photography since age 8. I loved sneaking around like a ninja, popping up from beneath tables and around corners to catch a moment when it was least expected.  Although cameras have come a long way since 1987, my knack for catching an ear to ear grin, or a tear down a smiling face has remained.

I’m not a wedding photography studio, nor am I a typical wedding photographer.  As a matter of fact, I’m not typical in any sense of the word.   I’m a photographer who takes incredible pictures, from family shots, headshots, portraits, to events like engagements, private parties and weddings, that uniquely reflect who my clients are.  When I arrive to an event or shoot on location, I assess the surroundings to ensure I make creative use of the most interesting spots.   The rest of the details are in the natural flow of the day. Often, the best shots are the kind we didn’t plan for, which is why I’ll be steadily snapping away as your story unfolds.

The images on this site are among my favorites because they elicit the emotion and atmosphere from that sliver in time. The impression of that mood is powerfully present.  Some moments were fun and silly. Others were serious… proud even. My goal is to capture a sense of you, not to portray some character that you are not.  That said, I need your trust in what I do – I promise however crazy the shot seems, you’re going to love it when we’re done.  I promise when I’m laying on the floor, and you can’t imagine what on earth I’m taking a picture of, it will hang from your living room wall six months later.  Finally, I promise true feeling and emotion will come across in each photo I take.

Your story is special, and I will illustrate authentically. By the end of our time together, you’ll walk away feeling as though you’ve been photographed by a friend. As a master in fostering ease, comfort, and laughter, I will capture the best of you. My reward?  That reassuring look on your face that proves my work outshines your expectations.
